Anemometer wind speed sensor

This is a simple anemometer for a weather (WX) station. Inside, three cups on a rotating shaft spin a magnet past a reed switch - each rotation produces a pulse, and counting those pulses over time gives you the wind speed.

With no electronics inside, it's a rugged, low-power sensor that plugs directly into your controller's pulse-counting input, where each pulse corresponds to 0.3 m/s of wind speed. It comes with a short cable ready to connect directly to our wind direction sensor, letting you build both parts of a wind measurement setup together.
