This is a simple seven-band equalizer with a preamplifier. Frequency settings range from deep bass to ultra-high frequencies, adjustable within ±12 dB. The output amplifier lets you drive headphones with an impedance of 16 to 600 Ohms. Inputs and outputs can be connected either via RCA connectors or a 3.5mm jack.
The power supply range is 5 to 12V, and the device can also be powered from USB using the included cable. Use it as an audio equalizer or a headphone preamp.

💡 Watch out for ground loops and a good power supply - both can cause humming. It's best to set the gain so that you're driving your TRX at a reasonable level, with the volume on the EQ-7 sitting in the first third of its range. Proper gain staging like this reduces any added noise.
