This is a simple stereo audio high impedance preamplifier with two 6J1 tubes wired as triodes. The board needs a 12V AC power supply, and the maximum plate voltage on the board is around 56V DC — a small, safe voltage for your experiments, generated internally by an onboard AC-to-±28V DC converter. It is a preamplifier with high impedance input and output, ideal for amplifying the signal from a microphone, for audio sound cards, or for high-impedance headphones (>600Ω). Use it as a high impedance preamp, a dynamic mic preamp, a sound card input stage, or as an audio preamp ahead of a further tube stage.

⚠ Attention! This preamp does not work with classic speakers or low-impedance headphones at the output. A transformer must be used for a low-impedance output.
