EMI filter KIT (enclosure + glands), 230V AC, 16A - build you own filtered extension cord
This is a special differential and common-mode AC EMI (electromagnetic interference) filter with a DC circuit, which filters the DC component in the AC power line through two 50A bridges and four 35V 2200µF capacitors, suppressing the magnetic saturation or increase in quiescent current caused by the DC component in the transformer - the cause of hum. This filter is a kit with enclosure and cable glands - you can build your own extension power cord with the filter in the middle. This is an ideal EMI filter for classic linear power supplies.
Differential filtration mode: two differential inductors perform differential AC filtering to suppress mid and high frequency interference. The common-mode filter is combined through an X2 capacitor and a common-mode inductor. The two-stage common-mode filtering has a better noise filtering effect - it can suppress the problem of fast transient interference by group pulses with a repetition rate of several thousand Hz at some user locations. Use it as a filter for an extension power cord, for linear power supply transformer hum, decreasing high-frequency electronic noise, as a differential and common-mode line filter, a DC component filter on the AC line, an additional filter for linear and switching mode PSUs, or as a filter for a common 230V AC plug.
